The animation on the front page of this website was a collaboration between local animator Jason Pamment, Bliss Web Agency, and the Adelaide PHN. This animation serves to visually represent our Adelaide PHN vision for a more integrated approach to medical care across the Adelaide region and conceptualises the Patient Centred Medical Home and Neighbourhood.

The animation depicts a medical neighbourhood with the community (i.e. the people at the heart of health care) front and centre. Around this community hub, Allied Health Boulevard and Primary Health Street are shown – with general practice, pharmacy, pathology, screening, optometry, physiotherapy, psychology and dental all represented. The surrounding roads – arranged in a subtle heart shape – visually embody the concept of integration, connection, and pathways of care. A fresh fruit and vegetable shop, religious building, and basketball court serve as examples of the other social and environmental factors which have an impact on the health of our community.

Looking closely, viewers may notice this particular neighbourhood is localised to the Adelaide region. Landmarks such as the Gumeracha Rocking Horse, and Mt Lofty Towers can be seen, and the neighbourhood itself has been positioned between the hills and ocean.
